A total of 500,000 investors opened A-share accounts last week (from June 23 to June 26), down nearly 50 percent week on week, according to the latest data released by the China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited (SD&C).
During the week, 28.72 million investors participated in trading on China's A-share market, accounting for 32.03 percent of the total.
