China's stock indices in Shanghai and Shenzhen opened lower on Friday.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.26 percent lower at 3,189.48. The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.20 percent lower at 1,766.78, The SME Price Index for small firms was down 0.19 percent to open at 7,053.80, and the ChiNext Index opened 0.01 percent lower at 2.039.01.
Stocks of shipbuilding, public transport, aviation devices, building materials, electricity grid, media and entertainment, steel, and banking sectors led the losers at Friday's opening, while, the leading gainers were in mineral products, petroleum, tourism, logistics, software services, and property sectors.
