Stock indices tracking Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses opened lower on Friday.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.88 percent lower at 3,600.76. The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 1.19 percent lower at 2,232.52, The SME Price Index for small firms was down 1.08 percent to open at 8,441.79, and the ChiNext Index opened 1.15 percent lower at 2,751.39. All listed sectors except for ad packaging opened in the negative territory.
Stocks of medical treatment, Internet, shipbuilding, software services, computer equipment, securities dealers, media and entertainment, telecom operation, natural gas, and steel sectors led the losers at Friday's opening.
