Stock indices tracking Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses opened higher on Thursday.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.18 percent higher at 3,656.82.
The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.47 percent higher at 2,263.72.
The SME Price Index for small firms was up 0.68 percent to open at 8,612.82 and the ChiNext Index opened 0.50 percent higher at 2,818.57.
Stocks of tourism, medical treatment, logistics, telecom equipment, petroleum, chemical fiver, computer equipment, computer equipment, and media and entertainment sectors led the gainers at Thursday's opening, while the leading losers were in securities dealers, steel, daily chemicals, and water-related affairs sectors.
