Shanghai Stock Exchange has begun to solicit opinions on a guide to information disclosure of listed companies in six industries in a bid to improve their information disclosure quality, the exchange said on Sunday.
The six industries are petroleum and natural gas exploitation, iron and steel, photovoltaic, construction, garment and news and publishing.
Earlier in September this year, the bourse had released a similar guide to information disclosure of listed companies in seven other industries.
The 13 industries cover all major industries of the listed companies, with their aggregate revenue and net profit accounting for nearly 70 percent of the total on the exchange.
