China's stock exchanges in Shanghai and Shenzhen opened lower on Friday.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.26 percent lower at 4,366.82. The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.30 percent lower at 2,446.79. The SME Price Index for small firms was down 0.30 percent to open at 9,677.52 and the ChiNext Index opened 1.03 percent lower at 3,109.11.
Stocks of Internet, software services, telecom operation, tourism, petroleum, securities dealers, insurance, logistics, and environmental protection sectors led the losers at Friday's opening, while aviation devices, natural gas, and engineering machinery sectors outperformed.
