U.S.-listed Chinese companies traded mostly lower on Thursday with nine of the top 10 stocks by weight in the S&P U.S. Listed China 50 index ending the day on an downbeat note.
Shares of TAL Education Group and New Oriental declined 5.53 percent and 5.39 percent respectively, the worst performing stocks among the top 10.
Shares of Ctrip rose 0.23 percent, the only advancer among the top 10.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 76.62 points, or 0.30 percent, to 25,656.98. The S&P 500 was down 4.84 points, or 0.17 percent, to 2,856.98. The Nasdaq Composite Index decreased 10.64 points, or 0.13 percent, to 7,878.46.
As of Wednesday, the S&P U.S. Listed China 50 index stood at 2,920.13, marking a 7.39-percent decrease for the month-to-date returns and a 5.53-percent loss for the year-to-date returns.
