Chinese stocks closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.22 percent to close at 2,630.52 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 2.4 percent higher at 7,832.29 points.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was up 3.47 percent to close at 1,368.79 points Monday.
The ChiNext Index, together with the Shenzhen Component Index and the Shenzhen SME (small- and medium-sized enterprises) Board Index, are major indices reflecting the performance of stocks listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
