The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 170.37 points, or 0.65 percent, to 26,119.61. The S&P 500 decreased 11.25 points, or 0.36 percent, to 3,113.49. The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 14.66 points, or 0.15 percent, to 9,910.53.
Both the 30-stock index and the S&P 500 snapped their 3-day winning streak.
