China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) will pour more efforts to promote innovation and transformation in eight life service industries, according to Shen Danyang, spokesman of MOC Wednesday.
Shen told media the objective on a regular press conference, saying MOC will start from enriching laws and regulations, drafting development plans, optimizing related policies and market environment to stimulate the eight sectors including catering, accommodation, housekeeping, washing and dyeing, bath, beauty industry and hairdressing, household appliances maintenance and portrait photography.
As Shen introduced, MOC will urge Chinese localities to give priority to securing land supply for life service sectors in planning land and urban and rural development and strictly implementing no less than 10 percent of business and comprehensive life facility area in newly built communities, speeding up turnover-to-value-added tax reform, canceling unreasonable administrative charges, improving residential water, electricity and gas pricing, exploring new investment, financing and lending mode, building credit system and data base for qualified third party credit rating and service providers to boost the eight life service industries.
