China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has been drafting the Guidelines for Accelerating the Transformation and Upgrade of Traditional Industries, according to Feng Fei, vice minister of MIIT.
Feng said the guidelines aim to improve enterprises' capacity of business transformation and upgrade and to foster their innovation and creation capacity. MITT will make efforts to satisfy consumers' demand for consumption upgrade and implement differentiated, precise and effective policies.
