China will soon issue guidance on strengthening and improving administration of the Internet industry in a bid to boost the industry's healthy development, according to the national work conference on industry and information technology held on Thursday.
The conference points out that China will strengthen the administration of Internet industry and improve the network and information security guarantee capability in 2016. It says China will concentrate on the implementation of new telecom business catalogue and the issuance of pilot administrative measures for new telecom services next year.
Meanwhile, it will deepen the comprehensive governance on network information and cyber environment, implement concentrative management on website security and telecom fraud, further regulate the operation and competition of telecom and Internet enterprises, explore the foundation of Internet credit appraisal system, and deepen safety responsibility check of basic telecom enterprises.
