​Japan posts goods trade surplus of 1.23 bln USD in September

Japan logged a goods trade surplus of 139.6 billion yen (1.23 billion U.S. dollars) in September, the Finance Ministry said in a report Thursday.

Exports dropped 1.2 percent from a year earlier in September, the ministry said, while imports during the same period increased 7.0 percent, according to the ministry's preliminary data.
