SEOUL, June 21 (Xinhua) -- Price for goods and services among South Korean suppliers fell for the second consecutive month due to lower oil products prices, central bank data showed Wednesday.

The producer price index (PPI) declined 0.3 percent in May from a month earlier, after retreating 0.1 percent in the previous month, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).

Producer prices for industrial products, including oil products, went down 0.8 percent last month.

Price for coal and oil products tumbled 6.3 percent, with those for chemical and metal products slipping 1.1 percent and 0.8 percent.

Prices for agricultural, livestock and fishery products among suppliers gained 1.5 percent in May, rebounding in four months.

Prices for electricity, natural gas and tap water added 0.6 percent in May from a month earlier.

Service price among suppliers was unchanged last month amid the lower transport service cost and the higher cost for the eatery and lodging service.
