Myanmar aims to earn over 16 bln USD from export in FY2024-25

YANGON, April 2 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar has set a target of earning approximately 16.7 billion U.S. dollars from exports in the 2024-25 fiscal year, the official Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Tuesday.

Additionally, the Southeast Asian country aims to achieve an import value of 16.3 billion dollars during the same fiscal year, the media report said.

The GDP growth rate for Myanmar in the 2024-25 fiscal year is estimated to be 3.8 percent, with around 2.5 percent expected to come from the agricultural sector, the media report said.
