China Unicom (CHU.NYSE; 00762.HK; 600050.SH) recorded 306,000 new mobile users in October, bringing its total number of mobile users up to 287.265 million, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The telecom operator registered 72.11 million fixed broadband users by the end of October, 415,000 more than that at the end of September. As at the end of October, China Unicom had fixed line users totaling 75.71 million, 817,000 more than the figure a month before.
