Asian top refiner Sinopec Corp. (SNP.NYSE; 00386.HK; 600028.SH) has produced 1.006 billion cubic meters of shale gas accumulatively from Changning-Weiyuan national shale gas demonstration zone in southwest China's Sichuan basin, said a release by CNPC on Friday.
Now, daily shale gas output with Changning-Weiyuan national shale gas demonstration zone stays at 5.36 million cubic meters. PetroChina has 64 shale gas wells in operation in the area, said the release.
