China Shenhua Energy Co. Ltd (601088.SH) announced on Friday that the company's output of commercial coal fell 7.2 percent year on year to 21.9 million tonnes in November, bringing coal output in the first 11 months to 255.7 million tonnes, down 9 percent year on year.
China Shenhua Energy sold 32.1 million tonnes of coal in November, down 6.7 percent year on year. The company's coal sales in the first 11 months stood at 337.4 million tonnes, down 17.8 percent year on year. In addition, China Shenhua Energy generated 18.38 billion kWh of electricity in November, down 2.9 percent year on year. The company's electricity generation from January to November reached 204.87 billion kWh, down 3.3 percent year on year.
