China's fixed-assets investment in the transport sector exceeded 12.5 trillion yuan in 2011-2015, about 1.6-fold of the figure for the previous five-year period, www.zgjtb.com reported Monday, citing Minister of Transport Yang Chuantang. During the five years between 2011 and 2015, China's railway network in service extended to 120,000 km, including 19,000 kilometers of high-speed railways, said the report.
