China's solar PV product exports totaled 7.759 billion yuan in the first half of 2015, up 4.57 percent year on year, according to China Photovoltaic Industry Association (CPIA).
Domestic PV manufacturing industry output value exceeded 200 billion yuan in the first three quarters, up 30 percent compared with same period in 2014. The growth could be mainly attributed to global PV demand increase as well as higher recognition for Chinese products internationally due to improved technology, experts say, noting that China's PV product output and exports are expected to keep steady growth in the future.
PV industry would keep speedy growth in the next ten years which could provide vast opportunities for PV enterprises, said Wang Bohua, secretary-general of CPIA. Global PV installed capacity is likely to reach 4600GW by 2050 with annual new added capacity to grow from 36GW in 2013 to 123GW by 2030 and 200GW annually in 2030-2040, according to predictions by International Energy Agency.
