China's electronics and IT manufacturing industry produced 116.16 million units of color TV sets in the first nine months of 2015, growing 5.9 percent year on year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
In a breakdown, the output of LCD TV was 108.94 million units, growing 4.9 percent year on year. The industry's household video and audio equipment business recorded 552.2 billion yuan of sales value in the period, rising 4.8 percent year on year. The growth rate was 0.2 percentage point higer than that for the same period of 2014.
Among the total sales, 256.2 billion yuan was contributed by exports, up 2.7 percent year on year, which was 6.4 percentage points lower than that for the year-earlier period. 296 billion yuan was made from domestic market, up 6.7 percent year on year, which was 5.9 percentage points higher than in Jan.-Sept. 2014.
