China produced 36,494 units of new energy vehicles (NEV) in October, growing 4.2-fold year on year, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). Meanwhile, the NEV sales grew five-fold year on year in the month, to 34,316 units.
In the first ten months, China's NEV output and sales totaled 181,225 units and 171,145 units, up 2.7-fold and 3.9-fold year on year, respectively.
