Some 17.22 million motorcycles were sold in the Chinese market in the first eleven months of this year, a drop of 10.8 percent year on year, according to the latest statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
Motorcycle output in January-November totaled 17.21 million units, a 10.8-percent decline from the corresponding period of last year. In November, China's motorcycle sales came to 1.50 million units, up 3.3 percent month on month but down 18.4 percent year on year. The monthly motorcycle output gained 6.8 percent from the preceding month but fell 18.4 percent year on year to 1.53 million units.
