The average single-well output of the Fuling shale gas field, developed by China's top refiner Sinopec Corp. (SNP.NYSE; 00386.HK; 600028.SH), reached 327,000 cubic meters per day, much higher than the average single-well output of shale gas fields in the U.S, said Xue Chengjin, a project manager of Sinopec Oilfield Service Corp. (600871.SH), said on Monday at a shale gas forum in Shanghai.
The Fuling gas field currently produces 12 million cubic meters of shale gas per day.
