Chinese top energy authority the National Energy Administration (NEA) recently saw the establishment of energy committee with Expert Advisory Committee under Work Safety Committee of the State Council, said a release by the NEA on Thursday.
Headed by Shi Yubo, deputy director of the NEA, the energy committee is one of ten sector-wise committees of Expert Advisory Committee under Work Safety Committee of the State Council. Establishment of the energy committee marks Chinese efforts to reinforce work safety in energy industry, optimize energy safety system and prompt scientific decision making, said Nur Bekri, head of the NEA.
