Chinese listed companies have stepped up their investment in the electric car charging industry.
At the 4th Beijing International Electric Vehicle Supply Equipments Fair (EVSE) concluded on Sunday, more types of fast-charging, trickle-charging, and power swap products were put on display. TGOOD Electric (300001.SZ) showcased its CMS smart charging management system, which could sharply improve charging security while extend cycle life of batteries by some 30 percent, said TGOOD chairman Yu Dexiang.
By the end of September 2015, TGOOD had set up 777 public charging stations and 19,450 power poles. The company plans to build 1,000 public charging stations and 60,000 power poles across China by the yearend.
Nancal Energy & Engineering has development multiple smart charging pole products, charging modules and electrical equipment, and is capable of offering tailor-made charging solutions to different types of clients, said the company's vice chairman Zhao Lan.
Moreover, Shenzhen Clou Electronics (002121.SZ), Tellus Power, and Taiwan-based Phihong Technology have all brought their latest mobile charging products to the show. China has expected to establish a comprehensive charging network that could accommodate five million electric vehicles by 2020, which could bring a charging market of about 150 billion yuan, analysts estimate.
