A three-year detailed implementation plan of advancing Internet Plus development has been drafted and will be released soon, the Shanghai Securities News quoted a source from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) as saying.

The plan is aiming at building an Internet Plus powered manufacturing ecological system from 2016 to 2018 and includes eight programs such as intelligent manufacturing pilot, intelligent manufacturing system solutions, information infrastructure construction.

In fact, several provincial governments have released development plans and goals applying Internet Plus into manufacturing industry, as data and information are replacing natural resources to be the major production factors in manufacturing.

The MIIT will also join hands with other ministries and commissions to promulgate financial and taxation encouraging policies for Internet Plus manufacturing.

Analysts expect industrial robots, automated assembly lines, and automated warehouse equipments will keep annual growth rates between 20 percent and 30 percent in the next five years and involved listed companies such as Qingdao Haier (600690.SH), Huazhong Numerical Control (300161.SZ) and Shenyang Machine Tool (000410.SZ) will be benefited.
