China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) is formulating a three year plan for the implementation of Internet plus strategy, which will build an ecosystem based on Internet plus manufacturing, the 21 Century Business Herald reported on Friday.
The action plan will be implemented from 2016 to 2018. It mainly includes eight programs that will be supported by an Internet plus manufacturing supportive fund being applied by the MIIT for major special projects.
The eight programs are related to the integration of informatization and industrialization, smart manufacturing trial, Internet plus action plan for small- and medium-sized enterprises, capacity building for smart manufacturing system solutions, information infrastructure construction, information technology industry, and cultivation of new business types and new models.
