China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) will ramp up efforts to implement a strategy of promoting civil-military integrative development, according to the ministry's 2016 work conference held on Thursday.
Next year, the MIIT will release policies to deepen civil-military integration in science, technology and industry for national defense, and formulate measures to open and share innovative resources of science and technology for national defense. The conference put forward major tasks, targets and concrete work in the industry and information fields in 2016.
