China will implement a new energy vehicle popularization plan and accelerate the issuance of incentive policies for charging facility construction in 2016, according to the national work conference on industry and information technology held on Thursday.
The conference says China will also accelerate the adoption of measures on the administration of average fuel consumption of passenger car enterprises and policies on boosting power battery industry's development.
Meanwhile, China will launch a new round of major technology transformation and upgrading programs, move dangerous chemicals enterprises, steel enterprises and non-ferrous metal enterprises out of cities, improve consumer goods supply and product quality and brand, and boost the production and application of green building materials.
Besides, the government will launch specific projects concerning agriculture machinery and equipment, indigenous ship supporting industry and major emergency equipment and products.
