China's National Energy Administration (NEA) will convene an on-site meeting for new energy vehicle (NEV) charging facility construction on Monday afternoon, to boost the implementation of a relevant document publicized by the State Council last Friday.
According to the Guidance on Boosting Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Construction, China will have built charging facilities that can satisfy the demands of over five million electric vehicles by 2020.
Meanwhile, the guidance said China will launch an industry alliance to boost electric vehicle charging infrastructure construction and encourage social capital to establish special funds for charging infrastructure development.
