Steel prices dropped 0.7 percent on average during Sept. 14-20 in China, compared to the previous week, according to monitoring by the Ministry of Commerce.
In a breakdown, the high-speed wire rod price dropped 1.1 percent, and the ordinary medium plate price dipped 1 percent, the MoC said. In Sept. 7-13, Chinese steel prices declined 0.8 percent on average, the MoC said.
