Prices of major nonferrous metals in China saw a year-on-year fall in August, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) on Tuesday.
Copper price on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) averaged at 39,422 yuan/metric ton (tonne) in August, down 6 percent from a month before and 21.8 percent year on year.
