China imported 699.05 million tonnes of iron ores in the first nine months of 2015, nearly the same as that for the same period of 2014, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC) on Tuesday.
Iron ore prices were among the sharpest fallers in January-September, when the value of iron ores imported by China dropped 41.9 percent year on year, the Customs data showed. China imported 86.12 million tonnes of iron ores in September, the Customs data showed.
