Steel consumption in China's machinery industry in 2015 is expected to fall 6.5 percent year on year to 129 million metric tons (tonnes), according to Li Xinchuang, head of China Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute on Monday.
In 2015, China's machinery industry saw an obvious fall in growth of the main business revenue. In the first three quarters of the year, the main business revenue grew 2.9 percent year on year, 7.7 percentage points lower than the growth in the same period of last year, said Li.
