The trading volume of rural E-commerce platform under Agriculture Bank of China (ABC; 01288.HK; 601288.SH) in central China's Hubei Province has exceeded 10 billion yuan, according to ABC's Hubei Branch.
The rural E-commerce platform called "E Nongguanjia" was promoted by ABC in 14 provinces and municipalities in China this year, which could provide various services like E-commerce and convenient payment for producers, wholesalers, retailers and farmers in rural production and circulation field.
In Hubei the platform has covered 69 local counties and 2,526 upstream merchants, and 50,000 downstream merchants have been introduced into the platform.
