China's microcomputer output falls 12.6 pct on yr in Jan.-Oct.

China's electronics and IT manufacturing industry produced 247.98 million units of microcomputers in the first ten months of 2015, declining 12.6 percent year on year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

In a breakdown, the output of laptop PCs went down 13.1 percent year on year, to 147.12 million units. Meanwhile, the industry produced 16.51 million units of digital cameras, down 17.5 percent year on year.

The industry's computer business saw sales value rise 0.4 percent in the ten months, 0.6 percentage point higher than in the first nine months of this year but 8.1 percentage points lower than the electronics and IT manufacturing industry's average.

The export delivery value dropped 4.2 percent year on year in the period, while the domestic sales value increased 14.3 percent year on year. The sales value of computer business accounted for 19.1 percent of the total of China's electronics and IT manufacturing industry in the period.
