China will build more battery charging facilities to meet the demand of 5 million electric vehicles (EV) across the country, including construction of over 12,000 charging and exchanging stations and over 4.8 million charging posts by 2020, according to a guideline published on Tuesday by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC),
China's top economic planner. China will also add over 3,850 charging and exchanging stations for buses, 2,500 stations for taxis and 2,450 stations for special-purpose vehicles by 2020.
