The U.S. dollar changed hands in the uper 102 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo on Wednesday, coming off a three-week high of 102.96 yen logged at one point overnight in New York.
As markets here opened, the dollar was quoted at 102.84-85 yen compared with 102.85-95 yen in New York and 102.39-40 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1208-1209 dollars and 115.27-28 yen against 1.1200-1210 dollars and 115.26-36 yen in New York and 1.1173-1174 dollars and 114.40-44 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
