The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely unchanged from its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.74-75 yen compared with 110.84-94 yen in New York and 111.07-09 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1787-1789 dollars and 130.54-55 yen against 1.1772-1782 dollars and 130.63-73 yen in New York and 1.1817-1818 dollars and 131.25-29 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
