The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 110 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, marginally higher than its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.57-58 yen compared with 110.49-59 yen in New York and 110.41-42 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1586-1587 dollars and 128.11-12 yen against 1.1592-1602 dollars and 128.17-27 yen in New York and 1.1561-1563 dollars and 127.65-69 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
