The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 111 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, marginally higher than its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.13-14 yen compared with 111.01-11 yen in New York and 111.15-16 yen at 5 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1682-1686 dollars and 129.84-85 yen against 1.1673-1683 dollars and 129.68-78 yen in New York and 1.1600-1601 dollars and 128.94-98 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
