The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 111 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.13-14 yen compared with 111.14-24 yen in New York and 111.14-15 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1693-1694 dollars and 129.95-96 yen against 1.1688-1698 dollars and 129.95-130.05 yen in New York and 1.1685-1686 dollars and 129.87-91 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
