​Dollar changes hands near 112 yen line in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands near the 112 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, dropping from its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.01-02 yen compared with 112.19-29 yen in New York and 112.50-51 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1400-1400 dollars and 127.69-73 yen against 1.1388-1398 dollars and 127.78-88 yen in New York and 1.1429-1431 dollars and 128.58-62 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
