TOKYO, March 4 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 111 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, largely in line with its levels in New York late last week.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.92-93 yen compared with 111.87-97 yen in New York, and 111.81-82 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1375-1375 dollars and 127.31-32 yen against 1.1363-1373 dollars and 127.15-25 yen in New York, and 1.1372-1373 dollars and 127.15-19 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
