70 listed firms suspend trading from Tue to avoid loss from mkt dive

On Tuesday, another 70 firms listed on China's Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses suspended their share trading, so as to avoid continuous sharp plunge of China's A-share market recently. Among the 70 listed firms, 11 were listed on the Shanghai bourse, and 59 on the Shenzhen bourse. As of Tuesday, 750 of the 2,700-odd firms listed on China's Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges had suspended trading of their stocks, accounting for 27 percent of the total.
