Stock indices tracking China's Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses opened mixed on Friday. The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.24 percent lower at 3,514.44.
The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.04 percent higher at 2,094.37.
The SME Price Index for small firms was up 0.40 percent to open at 8,065.06, and the ChiNext Index opened 0.27 percent higher at 2,571.66. Stocks of semiconductor, computer, household electric appliances, tourism, media, software and automobile sectors led the losers while those in telecom operation, bank, shipbuilding, insurance, iron and steel, logistics and coal sectors led the losers.
