China's stock indices in Shanghai and Shenzhen opened lower on Tuesday.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.81 percent lower at 3,617.40. The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.47 percent lower at 2,181.28, The SME Price Index for small firms was down 0.51 percent to open at 8,364.10, and the ChiNext Index opened 0.50 percent lower at 2,710.90.
Stocks of insurance, securities dealers, shipbuilding, banking, automobiles, coal, transport equipment, public transport, medical treatment, steel, natural gas, Internet sectors led the losers at Tuesday's opening, while, the leading gainers were in daily chemicals, home appliances, finance, hotels, and water-related affairs sectors.
