Stock indices tracking Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses opened mixed on Thursday. The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.32 percent lower at 3,525.73. The Shenzhen Composite Index opened 0.10 percent higher at 2,191.59, The SME Price Index for small firms was up 0.08 percent to open at 8,190.47, and the ChiNext Index opened 0.35 percent higher at 2,622.49.
Stocks of shipbuilding, securities dealers, insurance, banking, logistics, steel, agriculture, internet, nonferrous metals, and liquor-making sectors led the losers at Thursday's opening, while, the leading gainers were in mineral products, tourism, environmental protection, computer equipment, aviation devices, media and entertainment, medical treatment and medicines sectors.
