On a month-on-month seasonally adjusted basis, the NODX declined by 4.8 percent in February to 14 billion Singapore dollars (about 9.87 billion US dollars), compared to the previous month's 4.5 percent growth.
In a breakdown of Singapore's total NODX, Singapore's electronic NODX increased by 2.5 percent year on year in February, after the 13 percent decrease in the previous month. Meanwhile, the non-electronic NODX increased by 3.2 percent year on year, after the 0.1 percent decrease in January.
The NODX to the majority of Singapore's top markets grew in February, except the Chinese mainland and China's Hong Kong. The largest contributors to the NODX increase were the European Union countries, the United States and Japan.
Singapore's NODX to the Chinese mainland decreased by 35.8 percent year on year this February, compared to the previous month's 14.7 percent increase.
In a breakdown, the electronic NODX to the Chinese mainland grew by 6.3 percent year on year in February, while the non-electronic NODX fell 41 percent.
